Cornerstone Bank Celebrates Young Artists in America 250 Youth Art Contest

The contest invited students ages 5 to 18 from York and the surrounding communities to create original artwork inspired by the theme, "What America Means to Me." Young artists were encouraged to express their unique perspectives through crayons, colored pencils, markers, or paint, showcasing their creativity while reflecting on America's history, values, and future.

The response from local students demonstrated both remarkable artistic talent and thoughtful interpretations of the contest theme.

Each age division winner received a $250 prize, generously provided by Cornerstone Bank.

The winners are:

Ages 5-7

First Place: Caleb Propheter

Ages 8-10

First Place: Sawyer Dietz

Ages 11-13

First Place: Beckham Bowman

Ages 14-18

First Place: Zoe Shefferd

Judging was based on originality, creativity, artistic quality, and how effectively each piece reflected the theme, "What America Means to Me." Community judges reviewed the entries and selected winners from a collection of artwork submitted by young artists throughout the area.
